Jill grew up on the East Coast: a self proclaimed, “Jersey girl”.
Jill received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental, Populational, and Organismic Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She then earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO, continued her education at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing Science with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus in 2006, and is currently pursing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at UAA.
Jill is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine. She is a Certified Medical Examiner from the Federal Carrier Motor Safety Administration.
Jill has been at Homer Medical Center since 2013. Prior to joining the team at Homer Medical Center, Jill practiced in a family practice in Soldotna.
Jill is married to Bruce who is a Science Teacher at Homer High School. They have two college-age children pursuing engineering degrees.
Jill enjoys time spent with family, and outdoor activities.
