Morgan Dwyer moved to Homer from Colorado where she attended Colorado State University for a BS in Human Development and Family Studies and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Morgan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Alaska and also holds a Chemical Dependency Counselor 1 Certification.

During undergraduate school Morgan specialized in Early Childhood Professions and Prevention and Intervention Sciences. Morgan provides children and family therapy to the community to treat disruptive behaviors and support high conflict homes or homes in transition of any kind. Given the impact substance use disorder has on families and the community as a whole, Morgan has also worked with the Medication for Addiction Treatment team at Homer Medical Center as the counselor available to participating patients.
